First Grade Classroom

The North Mahaska Community School District, located in New Sharon, Iowa, serves approximately 600 students from Preschool to 12th grade. Position Overview North Mahaska is seeking a dedicated 1st grade teacher to create a positive, engaging classroom where young learners can thrive. The ideal candidate will deliver developmentally appropriate instruction in core subjects, support students' academic and social growth, and build strong relationships with families and colleagues. This role requires effective classroom management, differentiation to meet diverse needs, and a commitment to fostering a safe, inclusive learning environment.
