The Starter-Marshall role on a golf course is crucial for maintaining order, ensuring a smooth flow of play, and providing excellent customer service to golfers. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Managing tee times Maintaining the pace of play Enforcing course policies Providing excellent customer service Assisting players and spectators Ensuring compliance with course regulations Helping to ensure a positive experience for players on the course Other duties as assigned. Education and Experience Requirements High school diploma or general education degree (GED); previous experience in customer service a must; expert knowledge of golf preferred Knowledge, Skill and Ability Requirements Passionate about hospitality. Knowledge of the game of golf is an asset. Multi-tasking, organizational and time management skills are critical. Possess excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate professionally. Ability to handle multiple guests and operational demands with a high degree of efficiency, operating often with time sensitive deadlines Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions quickly. License Requirements Valid driver's license that has been in effect for at least three years, with no major violations and no more than two minor violations in the past three years.
