ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Maintain complete knowledge of the menu, ingredients, preparation method and garnishes for each menu item Maintain knowledge of table/seat/station numbers, room capacity, hours of operation, and proper table set up Able to coordinate with the culinary and operations team on menu items Performs opening and closing procedures including but not limited to the setup and break down of stations, side‐work, clearing tables and re‐setting tables Ensure that the table is marked and ready before dropping plates Ensure members have everything they need on the tables after delivery food Assist all servers, bartenders, and managers with carrying plates Communicate effectively and courteously with members and co‐workers Manage the line and work environment with compliance cleanliness standards, i.e.: finger smudges, spots, and sauce spills Present food to members/guests in a timely, precise, and efficient manner, in accordance with the standards Notify direct supervisor when applicable to assist in monitoring and maintaining the inventory of supplies Participate in teamwork and assist other departments when needed Work diligently to achieve outstanding service quality Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager

ESSENTIAL COMPETENCIES, EDUCATION AND REQUIREMENTS

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to maintain a positive and professional demeanor under pressure. Keen awareness of entire floor and stations Has an upbeat, energetic, authentic, and professional attitude Works as a team player, helps other members of the staff. Must be able to multitask and work in a face paced team environment. Able to work varied shifts and flexible schedules. Strong organizational and verbal communication skills Excellent guest and employee relations skills Ability to satisfactorily communicate in jobrelated English. Able to lift and carry containers and equipment weighing 5065 lbs. Able to reach various levels ranging from overhead to the floor. Able to work in environments with extreme temperatures. Minimum of 18 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages. Certification and/or previous training in liquor, wine, and food service. Food handling certificate Certification in C.P.R. is recommended. Patient and friendly with demonstrated experience in problem solving. Must be able to multitask and work in a face paced team environment. Thoroughness and professionalism. Must have flexible schedule and the ability to assist and support all functions under their direct supervision.
