Detroit, MI 10-4 Logistics USA seeks full-time W2 Class A CDL flatbed drivers to haul freight across all 48 states. These positions are best suited for experienced flatbed drivers who prefer regional and over-the-road (OTR) schedules with consistent weekly home time. Positions are based in Detroit, MI, with regional lanes throughout the Midwest and national OTR routes. What we offer Stable W2 employment with year‑round flatbed freight (regional and OTR lanes).Compensation:
$1,800-$2,100 gross per week; drivers paid at 27% of the load. Sign‑on bonus: $5,000 total. Safety and performance bonus opportunities. Late‑model company‑assigned tractors and paid orientation.Reliable home time:
weekly for the 34‑hour reset (home weekends for many routes). 24‑hour dispatch support and a no forced‑dispatch policy. Day‑one benefits: medical, dental, and vision; 401(k) with company match after eligibility; paid time off and paid holidays; company‑paid life and AD&D insurance. Typical duties Safely operate a Class A tractor‑trailer in compliance with DOT and company regulations. Perform flatbed load securement and freight protection, including tarping and use of straps, chains, and binders (approximately 40-50% of loads require tarping). Handle shipments of steel and steel pipe, applying required securement practices and appropriate care during transit. Haul regional and OTR flatbed freight with typical runs up to 2,000-2,500 miles. Maintain accurate ELD logs, trip reports, and DVIRs; conduct pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections and promptly report maintenance needs. Manage schedules to meet pickup and delivery commitments and maintain on‑time performance. Communicate professionally and promptly with dispatch, customers, and team members. Qualifications Valid Class A CDL. Minimum 1 year OTR driving experience and at least 6 months flatbed experience. Experience hauling steel and steel pipe is required. Demonstrated skill with straps, tarps, chains, and binders for securement. Clean driving record (MVR) and ability to comply with DOT regulations and company policies.
