Summary We are seeking a Fleet Manager to oversee and coordinate the maintenance and operation of our extensive fleet of vehicles. Based in S Windsor CT , this role is vital to ensuring the efficiency and safety of our transportation services while supporting our company's mission of delivering exceptional logistics solutions. Responsibilities Manage daily fleet operations to ensure timely and efficient delivery schedules. Oversee maintenance schedules and coordinate repairs for trucks and trailers. Monitor vehicle performance and implement improvements for safety and efficiency. Lead a team of drivers, technicians, and support staff to meet operational goals. Ensure compliance with all transportation regulations and safety standards. Develop strategies for fleet optimization to reduce costs and improve service quality. Maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance, inspections, and driver logs. Collaborate with other departments to support overall company objectives. Qualifications Proven experience in fleet management or transportation operations. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team. Knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures and safety regulations. Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities. Ability to analyze data to optimize fleet performance. Effective communication skills with internal teams and external partners. Proficiency in fleet management software is preferred. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
