$ 25-30 per hour (based on experience) About Us We are a busy, full-service landscape company providing design, installation, maintenance, irrigation, and snow services. Our fleet of trucks, trailers, and equipment is the backbone of our operation, and we are looking for a reliable, hardworking Mechanics Helper / Delivery Driver to support our mechanics and keep our crews moving efficiently. Position Overview This position is a dual-role opportunity supporting our shop mechanic with equipment maintenance and repairs while also handling pickups, deliveries, and transportation of landscape materials and equipment between job sites and vendors. The ideal candidate is dependable, mechanically inclined, organized, and comfortable driving trucks and trailers.

Responsibilities Shop & Mechanic Support:

Assist lead mechanic with maintenance and repairs on trucks, trailers, small engines, and landscape equipment Perform routine maintenance (oil changes, filter replacements, greasing, tire checks, etc.) Clean and organize shop area Track tools and maintain inventory of parts and supplies Load/unload equipment for service

Driving & Delivery:

Pick up and deliver parts, materials, and equipment to job sites and suppliers Transport landscape equipment and materials safely Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Secure loads properly and follow DOT safety guidelines Maintain cleanliness of vehicles and trailers Qualifications Valid driver's license (CDL preferred but not required) Clean driving record Basic mechanical knowledge (small engines, trucks, trailers preferred) Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly Comfortable working outdoors and in a shop environment Strong work ethic and punctuality Ability to follow instructions and work independently Machine operating experience a plus What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Overtime opportunities Year-round employment Supportive team environment Paid time off and holidays (if applicable) Schedule Monday-Friday Occasional Saturdays during peak season Overtime available during busy months If you're dependable, mechanically inclined, and want to grow with a fast-paced landscape company, we'd love to hear from you!
