Job Description

Join Our Early Education Team! We are seeking passionate educators to join our vibrant early education program as Micro Education-Based Preschool Teachers , dedicated to nurturing and inspiring young learners in a small, focused, home-like classroom environment. Our program serves a close-knit group of 6-10 students , allowing for meaningful connections, individualized support, and hands-on learning experiences. We are currently hiring for the following roles: Floater Position Support across classrooms with academic activities, hands-on learning experiences, and daily routines. This role offers flexibility and the opportunity to engage with students throughout the day. Closing Teacher (2:00-5:30 p.m.) Lead our end-of-day program, supporting students with creative arts, learning centers, and structured wrap-up activities in a calm and engaging environment. Morning Support (Flexible Schedule, up to 4 hours) Assist with early academic instruction and hands-on learning activities to help set a strong foundation for the day. Duties Facilitate interactive lessons that promote early literacy, numeracy, physical activity, and social skills using diverse teaching methods such as Montessori and other child-centered approaches. Manage classroom to create a safe, respectful, and stimulating learning environment for all students. Conduct ongoing assessments to monitor each child's progress, utilizing tools such as weekly progress reports. Collaborate with families to share insights on child development, progress, and strategies for support at home. Incorporate special education principles and early intervention techniques to support children with diverse learning needs or developmental delays. Requirements CPR & First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain). Must be at least 18 years old. Experience working with young children and a genuine love for supporting student growth and development. Child Abuse & Neglect Training Health & Safety Training Required annual clock-hour professional development trainings Must be able to qualify under Delaware licensing regulations as an Assistant Teacher. Flexible, dependable, and a team player. Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus, but not required. We introduce students to foundational Spanish concepts such as numbers and the alphabet. ( This is already in place, and can be learned during month training)
