Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and safety-conscious Floor Hand for our Workover Unit to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for assisting with the setup, operation, and maintenance of heavy equipment on oil rigs and construction sites, ensuring smooth and efficient workover operations. Your hands-on expertise will contribute to the safe and successful completion of oil and gas extraction projects, supporting our commitment to operational excellence and safety standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced, energetic environment dedicated to the oil & gas industry. Responsibilities Assist with the operation and rigging of the workover unit. Support the setup and breakdown of pipe connections and ensure proper alignment during horizontal pulling unit activities. Conduct routine inspections of equipment and tools to ensure compliance with OSHA safety regulations and company standards. Help coordinate logistics for materials, tools, and supplies needed. Maintain a clean, organized work area while adhering to safety protocols at all times. Collaborate with team members to execute mechanical tasks related to oil & gas extraction processes efficiently. Follow all safety procedures related to rigging, heavy equipment operation, site activities, and transportation. Experience Prior experience working on oil rigs or workover units is highly preferred. Knowledge of drilling techniques, and general mechanical skills are advantageous. Familiarity with OSHA safety standards related to oil & gas operations is essential. Hands-on experience with rigging and operational workover procedures is prreferred. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) or equivalent certification for driving a workover unit is a plus. Demonstrated ability to work in physically demanding environments while maintaining safety awareness. Pay:
$17.00 - $20.00 per hour
