Job Description

Antique Rose and Fleur and Decor are joining forces! Antique Rose Florist and Fleur and Decor is a with locations in Montgomery and Magnolia, Texas. We design custom arrangements, style weddings and events, host flower bars, and build relationships with clients who trust us with their most important moments. We're a small team — which means every person carries real weight and real ownership in what we create together The Role We're looking for a skilled, self-directed floral designer who can step into a lead capacity. You'll be the creative standard-bearer on the floor — designing and overseeing arrangements that reflect our aesthetic, guiding team members, supporting client consultations, and making sure day-to-day operations run smoothly across both locations. This isn't a role for someone who needs heavy direction. We want someone who loves what they do, takes pride in their craft, and shows up ready to own their space. What You'll Do Design and produce floral arrangements for everyday orders, custom requests, weddings, events, and seasonal collections — consistently reflecting Fleur and Decor's style and quality standards Lead floral projects from consultation through delivery, coordinating timelines, materials, and team execution Mentor and guide team members on design techniques, flower care, and workflow — modeling the standards you'd want upheld in your absence Consult with clients on selections, custom orders, and event needs, building trust and repeat business through genuine service Manage flower and supply inventory: monitoring levels, and flagging shortages. Oversee studio presentation at both locations — merchandising, display freshness, cleanliness, and floor readiness Support sales of seasonal products, arrangements, and add-ons in alignment with studio promotions and revenue goals Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace and hold the team to the same standard. What We're Looking For 3-5+ years of professional floral design experience, with a portfolio that demonstrates range and skill Certified Floral Designer, CFD is preferred, but not required Demonstrates a strong sense of urgency in daily production, moving orders efficiently from design bench to delivery-ready without compromising standards Confidence leading a small team — you've coached or mentored others and can do it without micromanaging Strong client communication skills: you listen well, ask the right questions, and translate a client's vision into something real Solid working knowledge of flowers, foliage, seasonal availability, and care practices Organized and dependable — you manage multiple orders without dropping details Comfortable with retail operations: POS systems, cash handling, basic inventory tracking Available to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays — this is the floral industry. Especially Mother's Day and Valentine's Day week.
Compensation & Details Pay:
