Overview We are seeking a talented and creative Florist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for floral design and a strong customer service orientation. As a Florist, you will be responsible for creating beautiful floral arrangements, providing exceptional service to customers, and managing inventory. This role requires both artistic skills and the ability to handle retail operations efficiently. Duties Design and create floral arrangements for various occasions, including weddings, funerals, and special events. Assist customers in selecting flowers and arrangements that meet their needs and preferences. Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the work area and display cases. Manage inventory by receiving shipments, stocking supplies, and ensuring freshness of flowers. Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems for transactions, including cash handling and processing payments. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of orders and exceptional customer service. Qualifications Previous experience in floral design or a related field is preferred but not required. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Proficiency in cash handling and retail math to ensure accurate transactions. Excellent communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus. A keen eye for detail and creativity in designing floral arrangements. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
