My client is seeking an Advanced Practice Nurse (FNP/ APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA) for their Pain Management Clinic in Gresham OR. They need someone with experience or ability and interest in the area of Pain Treatment. The ideal candidate will have completed clinicals, or worked in Pain Specialty for at least 1 year. New Grads May Apply - Will Train! Duties Provide thorough patient evaluations by conducting detailed physical examinations, assessing vital signs, and reviewing medical histories to determine the nature and severity of pain conditions. Develop individualized treatment plans that incorporate pharmacologic therapies, including injections, IV infusions, and botulinum toxin treatments, as well as non-pharmacologic interventions such as esthetic laser treatments and nerve blocks. Administer medications and perform procedures with precision, ensuring adherence to sterile techniques, aseptic protocols, and safety standards. Utilize advanced EMR (Electronic Medical Record) systems like Epic or eClinicalWorks for accurate documentation of patient encounters, treatment plans, and clinical notes. Coordinate with specialists in areas such as gastroenterology, infectious disease care, or behavioral health when complex cases require multidisciplinary approaches. Skills Trained and licensed FNP/APRN or PA for state ofOR RX/DEA
authority & licensure Graduate of an accredited university Master's in Nursing or Physician Assistant Program BLS/CPR certified Proven experience as an FNP with specialized training in acute pain management, including familiarity with CPT coding for procedures performed. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, pharmacology, and diagnostic evaluation techniques relevant to pain medicine. Hands-on experience with advanced procedures such as spinal taps, dermal fillers, nerve blocks, or catheterization is highly desirable.
