Job Description
Overview We are seeking an energetic and dedicated FOH (Front of House) and BOH (Back of House) Manager to lead our vibrant restaurant team. This dynamic role combines the excitement of managing customer service operations with the precision of overseeing kitchen and food production processes. As a key leader, you will ensure seamless restaurant flow, exceptional guest experiences, and efficient food handling, all while fostering a positive team environment. Your expertise in hospitality management, culinary operations, and team leadership will drive our success and elevate our brand reputation. Duties Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth coordination between front-of-house service and back-of-house food preparation. Lead, motivate, and train staff in food service standards, customer service excellence, and food safety protocols. Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions accurately and efficiently. Maintain inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste to optimize food costs. Supervise food preparation, cooking processes, and food handling to uphold quality standards and safety regulations. Handle cash management duties including cash handling procedures, balancing registers, and preparing financial reports. Implement shift management strategies to ensure adequate staffing levels during peak hours while maintaining high service standards. Conduct staff interviews, training sessions, and performance evaluations to foster professional growth within the team. Enforce health and safety standards related to food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety across all departments. Coordinate catering events, banquet services, or special functions as needed to expand service offerings. Qualifications Proven experience in restaurant management with a strong background in both FOH and BOH operations. Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food industry best practices. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for transaction processing. Demonstrated leadership skills with experience supervising staff in fast-paced environments like quick service or casual dining restaurants. Strong understanding of inventory control, budgeting, and food cost management strategies. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating memorable guest experiences. Ability to train staff effectively in food safety standards, food handling procedures, and operational protocols. Experience with kitchen management including food production processes and culinary experience preferred. Skilled in interviewing candidates, onboarding new employees, and developing training programs. Hospitality management background with experience in managing bar or coffee shop operations is a plus. Pay:
