This role is ideal for a strong morning person who enjoys interacting with guests, creating a welcoming environment, and working hands-on in food preparation and hospitality operations. The ideal candidate understands food safety compliance, maintains high cleanliness standards, and can help manage kitchen operations efficiently and professionally. This is a leadership-oriented, hands-on operational role that requires reliability, organization, and a strong customer service mindset. Responsibilities Guest Hospitality & Breakfast Service Prepare and maintain daily breakfast service for hotel guests Greet and interact professionally with guests during breakfast hours Maintain a clean, welcoming, and fully stocked breakfast area Prepare coffee, juice stations, and beverage service daily Ensure food presentation and guest experience meet company standards Food Preparation & Kitchen Operations Assist with hands-on food preparation and setup Prepare food and supplies for vending operations and catering requests Maintain kitchen cleanliness, organization, and workflow efficiency Monitor food quality, freshness, temperatures, and expiration dates Assist with inventory management and food ordering processes Compliance & Food Safety Maintain SafeServ/Food Handler compliance standards Ensure compliance with health department and food safety regulations Properly store, rotate, and label food inventory Complete cleaning and sanitation procedures consistently Maintain kitchen operational standards and documentation Inventory & Operational Support Process and organize food and supply deliveries Restock vending products, beverages, and breakfast inventory Track inventory levels and communicate shortages proactively Support special events, catering requests, and hospitality operations as needed Requirements Must be dependable and punctual with early morning availability Typical shift start time: 5:00 AM Positive attitude and strong guest service skills Comfortable interacting with guests in a hospitality setting Ability to work hands-on in kitchen and food preparation environments Ability to stand for extended periods and lift 40+ pounds Strong organizational and cleanliness standards Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Preferred Qualifications SafeServ Certification or willingness to obtain certification Previous hotel breakfast, food service, catering, or restaurant experience Kitchen management or food operations experience preferred Experience with food ordering, inventory, or compliance management Hospitality or customer service experience strongly preferred Schedule Full-time preferred Early morning shifts required Weekend and holiday availability may be required Benefits (Optional) Competitive pay Growth opportunities within hospitality operations Stable year-round employment Team-oriented environment Overtime opportunities available
