Job Description
Job Overview Long Key Bar And Grill is located next to Lime Tree Bay Resort in Long Key (Layton), Florida. We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Food & Beverage Director to lead our culinary and hospitality operations with enthusiasm and expertise. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of food production, service, and management across multiple outlets, ensuring exceptional quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. Your leadership will inspire teams to deliver memorable dining experiences while maintaining operational excellence. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional eager to make a positive impact in a vibrant hospitality environment. Responsibilities Lead and manage all food and beverage operations, including restaurants, catering, banquets, and specialty outlets. Assist in developing and implement innovative menus, food presentation standards, and service protocols that elevate guest experiences. Supervise, servers, bartenders, and support teams to ensure high performance, adherence to food safety standards, and exceptional customer service. The Executive Chef supervises the kitchen staff and reports to the Food and Beverage Director. Oversee food preparation processes, ensuring quality control, consistency, and compliance with health regulations. Manage shift schedules, inventory control, procurement of supplies, and cost management to maximize efficiency and profitability. Foster a positive team environment through training, coaching, performance evaluations, and leadership development initiatives. Maintain strict adherence to food safety protocols and sanitation standards across all outlets. Requirements Proven experience in hotel, resort, or restaurant management within a fast-paced hospitality setting. Strong management skills with demonstrated success supervising teams in food service management or hospitality management roles. Good knowledge with Resort and/or hotel marketing programs to maximize guest attendance at multiple outlets Experience overseeing food service operations such as catering, banquets, or large-scale events; familiarity with shift management is essential. Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to lead by example in delivering memorable guest experiences. Leadership qualities that inspire teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement among staff members. Familiarity with food safety standards and certifications relevant to the industry; experience in the food industry is highly valued.
