Food Preparation Worker

• Job Overview:

• We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Food Preparation Worker to join our team in the Barrel & Board Food Truck.

This role is crucial in creating an enjoyable experience for every guest at Keswick Vineyards. The ideal candidate will ensure the highest level of quality and food safety and have a passion for cooking and providing excellent customer service. Tip sharing additional to hourly rate.

• Responsibilities:

• Assist with food preparation, including menu planning, cooking, and serving
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to food safety and health regulations
• Prepare and present food to a high standard, including plating and garnishing
• Support the culinary team with food preparation, cooking, and presentation
• Assist with food ordering, inventory management, and stocking
• Ensure special dietary needs and food allergies are attended to
• Provide exceptional customer service and support to guests
• Participate in catering events and assist with event setup and breakdown

• Requirements:

• Prior experience in a kitchen environment, preferably in the food industry
• Knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques
• Strong understanding of food safety regulations
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Basic knowledge of knife skills and food preparation
• Familiarity with meal preparation and presentation
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

• Skills:

• Proficiency in kitchen operations and food preparation
• Experience in the food industry
• Knowledge of culinary practices and techniques
• Strong understanding of food safety regulations
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Basic knowledge of knife skills and food preparation
• Familiarity with meal preparation and presentation
• Familiarity with regional wines not required but a plus
