Illinois , Fulton Job Description Our client is seeking a Production Supervisor in Northern Illinois. This company has been in business for over 80 years, prides themselves on their strong company culture, and true commitment to promoting from within whenever possible. This is an opportunity to step into a hands-on leadership role working across multiple shifts in a highly automated, fast‑paced facility. This plant works on a 2-2-3 schedule, so you only work 7 out of every 14 days. This is a relief role so it is an opportunity to make an impact facility wide. What you'll lead: Daily production operations, ensuring safety, GMP compliance, and product quality Changeovers, line performance, and smooth shift transitions Driving OEE, KPIs, and continuous improvement initiatives Coaching and developing production employees Partnering with Quality, Maintenance, and Safety for peak performanceWhat We're Looking For:
Bachelor's degree in a Technical or Managerial field of expertise. (relevant experience may substitute for a degree). Minimum of 3 years of Supervisory experience in a related industry. Good overall knowledge of safety, sanitation, manufacturing operations, and quality. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ability to navigate basic software programs Well-developed conflict resolution skills. Attention to detail, self-motivated, good communicator with a high level of integrity. Ability to give and receive praise and areas of improvement Familiarity/willingness and ability to become familiar with LSS tools and fundamentals such as 5Whys, RCA, CIL, Process Controls, etc. Ability to work in an environment that values being lean and agile in day-to-day operations.
