Food Runner

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Food Runner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their meals promptly and enjoyably. This position requires excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work collaboratively with kitchen and service staff. Responsibilities Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area efficiently and accurately. Assist servers by ensuring that tables are set up correctly and that guests have everything they need for an enjoyable dining experience. Help with bussing tables, clearing dishes, and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and presentation. Communicate effectively with both front-of-house and back-of-house teams to facilitate smooth operations. Adhere to food safety and handling standards at all times. Assist in food preparation as needed, including basic cooking tasks or assembling dishes. Requirements Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with POS systems is a plus. Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a busy environment. Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset. Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations is advantageous. Ability to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights as required in a kitchen setting.
