Food Runner / Food Packer

Responsibilities Safely handle and pack food items following strict food safety and handling protocols to maintain quality and hygiene standards. Assist in food preparation tasks, including plating, garnishing, and organizing dishes for service. Deliver prepared food promptly from the kitchen to dining areas or designated pickup points, ensuring accuracy and presentation. Support restaurant staff by bussing tables, clearing dishes, and maintaining cleanliness in dining and service areas. Operate POS systems such as toast to process orders efficiently when required. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely completion of orders and communicate any special guest requests or dietary considerations. Maintain a friendly, professional attitude while providing excellent guest service and supporting overall hospitality efforts. Experience Prior experience in food service, restaurant operations, or hospitality environments is highly preferred. Familiarity with food handling procedures, safety standards, and sanitation practices. Experience with serving, food packing, or banquet setups is advantageous. Knowledge of POS systems such as Toast enhances efficiency in order processing. Previous kitchen or culinary experience supports understanding of food preparation and presentation. Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach are essential for success in this role. Experience working in hotel or large-scale catering environments is a plus.
