Food Service Custodian Job Description:

The Food Service custodian is a flexible individual who can assist with maintaining the cleanliness of the food service department. The candidate should enjoy working in a school environment.

Essential Functions:

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions: Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, taking out trash, cleaning floors. Cleans food production area, serving area and sitting area during and after meal service. Patient with an ability to stay positive under pressure. Performs all other kitchen duties as required including assisting in the serving of food items when necessary Provides services to cafeteria customers in a friendly and efficient man.

Physical Demands:

The employee must be able to stand for long periods of time. The employee must frequently lift or move objects up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move objects up to 25 pounds

Preferred Education/Experience:
