Job Summary:

Perform the following functions as required in the

Food Service Department:

Be able to operate and maintain a dish machine Maintain, clean, and organize work areas in the dishroom Wash pans and dishes that that come from servers Maintain dish machine temperature logs Clean and close the dish machine, sink area and empty trash bin at the end of each day Maintain and order required dishwasher and cleaning supplies Assist in serving during lunch lines as needed Be able to assist other positions in the kitchen as needed Assist with special promotions for staff and students Follow all safety regulations Complete all food service trainings Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Minimum Required Qualifications:

Be able to stand for long periods of time Lift up to 50 pounds Tolerate varying temperatures in coolers, freezers and dish room Assist with special promotions for staff and students Must be able to multi-task Knowledge of current food safety regulations as well as current meal component requirements in order to accurately recognize reimbursable meals

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in school food service
