Food Truck Cook Port Royal Ocean Resort and Conference Center - 3.3 Port Aransas, TX Job Details Seasonal $12 an hour Qualifications Food handling Cooking Meal preparation Food industry Food safety Full Job Description Duties Prepare and cook a variety of menu items with precision, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish Handle food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, portioning, and assembling ingredients efficiently Maintain strict adherence to food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures at all times Set up the mobile kitchen station, organize supplies, and ensure all cooking equipment is clean and operational Serve food to customers promptly while providing friendly, attentive service that enhances their experience Follow health regulations and maintain cleanliness standards in the food truck environment Experience Previous experience working in a fast-paced food service or restaurant setting, ideally with mobile or catering operations Strong culinary background with proficiency in food preparation, cooking techniques, and knife skills Familiarity with menu planning, meal assembly, and portion control to optimize efficiency during busy periods Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation practices within the food industry Experience in dietary department or dietary aide roles is a plus, demonstrating attention to special dietary needs Exposure to fine dining or gourmet cuisine enhances ability to craft high-quality dishes under pressure Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining high standards of quality and customer service Embark on an exciting culinary adventure with us!
