This is not just a driving position. We are looking for someone who can confidently drive our food trucks to and from events, while also working hands-on during service cooking, setting up, breaking down, and helping operate successful events. Our trucks service everything from weddings and private parties to concerts, sporting events, festivals, movie sets, and major corporate events throughout the tri-state area. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys fast-paced environments, takes pride in their work, and can handle responsibility without constant supervision. Responsibilities Drive Walter's food trucks to and from catering events Work on the truck during service cooking and assisting guests Set up and break down events Load and unload products, equipment, and supplies Maintain cleanliness and organization of trucks Help execute smooth, high-volume events Represent Walter's professionally with clients and guests Requirements Comfortable driving large trucks, vans, box trucks, or food trucks Clean driver's license and driving record Reliable transportation to and from Mamaroneck/White Plains Ability to work nights and weekends Able to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in summer conditions Strong work ethic and dependable attitude Calm under pressure and team-oriented Preferred Experience Food truck experience Catering or event experience Restaurant, grill, or line cook experience Experience leading shifts or managing events DOT or commercial driving experience is a plus Compensation $20-$24/hour depending on experience Tips Overtime opportunities Strong earning potential during peak event season Flexible scheduling Opportunity for growth within a fast-growing company About Walter's Walter's Hot Dogs has been a Westchester institution for over 100 years.
