Job Description
JOB SUMMARY A
Foreman experienced and safety-focused Commercial Electrical Foreman to lead electrical crews on commercial construction projects. In this leadership role, you will report to the Superintendent oversee a crew of 5-15. This includes installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems while ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in full compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and all applicable standards.You will manage journeymen electricians, apprentices, and helpers, coordinate with other trades, and maintain high standards of quality and productivity.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Responsible for all WYRE field trades on an electrical construction crew or project. 2. Does a working estimate and take-off jointly with the Project Manager, Construction Manager or Direct Supervisor. 3. Lays out work for subordinate lead persons and is jointly responsible with the Project Manager for having material, tools, equipment, information and appropriate manpower in the proper place in a timely fashion. 4. Establishes work schedules and man-loading charts. 5. Directs subordinate crew in installation of electrical feeders; equipment such as pumps, motors, and generators; control and distribution apparatus such as switch gear, relays, and circuit breaker panels; lighting fixtures and outlets; and related connections and terminations. 6. Monitors work as performed, directs subordinate crews, and schedules work according to the pace of the job and other trades. 7. May perform work being supervised for either production or instruction. 8. Handles or oversees the disposition of required office correspondence and administrative paperwork such as official forms, daily reports, time sheets/tickets, safety reports, etc. 9. Enforces all company safety, client and project safety policies and procedures. Assured employees are properly trained or instructed in performance of duties to which they are assigned. Assures compliance with all WYRE safety processes and protocols. Investigates or assists in investigation and reporting of any accident or safety incidents involving jobsite employees.WORKING ENVIRONMENT
You may also be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at construction sites. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud. This position is performed in outside weather conditionsPHYSICAL DEMANDS
The employee's work requires routine walking, standing, bending, stooping and twisting, kneeling, squatting, and carrying items weighing up to 40 pounds. The employee is required to communicate by speaking and listening. Lifting abilities up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. SAFETY Adhere to safety policies, practices and procedures. Maintains liaison with safety personnel on various safety policies, practices and procedures to assure information exchange, mutual assistance and an enhanced positive safety culture. Instructs, provides guidance and training to assigned staff regarding safety policies, practices and procedures, utilizing proactive methods. Provide written documentation for infractions of safety policies, practices and procedures. Actively participates in behavior and commitment-based safety program and supports safety goals by planning, implementing, and coordinating policies, practices and procedures to reduce or eliminate occupational injuries, illnesses, deaths, and property damage. Monitors, records and provides documentation on safety related issues in the workplace. Identifies, appraises, resolves, and / or appropriately reports conditions which could produce injuries, illnesses, and property damage. May assist in investigation of accidents or incidents. Work Authorization/Security ClearanceMust be authorized to work in the United States of America. Must be able to pass background checks for security clearance for certain jobsites. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work vary, 40 hours per week, and overtime may be required. Travel Job Sites can be in multiple locations and out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected. Required Education and Experience Journeyman's License Current Driver's License and must have own reliable transportation. High School Graduate, GED or equivalent. 6 years or more of commercial/industrial electrical experience.
