Forklift Mechanic (Road Technician)

Responsibilities :

• Troubleshoot and repair all makes & models of forklifts.
• Perform routine preventative/planned maintenance on forklifts to ensure proper functioning.
• Recommend service as needed to customers.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and time. Process paperwork on a consistent & timely basis.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries
• Must provide own hand tools.
• Must have and maintain a clean driving record.

Qualifications :

• Previous experience with LP Gas, Diesel, & Electric forklift experience a plus.
• Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to perform basic repairs on equipment
• Ability to operate power tools and other machinery safely
• Proficient in heavy lifting techniques and able to lift up to 75 pounds
• Familiarity with schematics
