We are looking for a

FORKLIFT OPERATOR

to join our Springfield, IL plant. As a forklift operator with Contech you will contribute to America's essential infrastructure including drainage systems, pipe, bridges and structures, and stormwater management. Role Responsibilities:

Complete pre- and post-shift daily audits and maintain the forklift's daily safety checklist. Operate forklift to build loads by assembling product into bundles and complete detailed paperwork for each load. Assist with material handling to ensure raw materials and finished goods are stored in the proper location. Prepare lumber for dunnage use, operate saws and nail guns with precision. Regularly fuel and maintain forklift and ensure it is parked in designated areas at the end of each day. Record and turn in production records as required. Keep yard area in a neat and orderly condition by organizing strapping, boards, stringers, and more.

About You We Require:

Prior manufacturing, production, or distribution experience. Certification on Forklift Operation preferred. Ability to operate forklift in accordance with required guidelines.
