Forklift Operator QXO, Inc. (

The Forklift Operator plays a key role in supporting safe and efficient operations by moving, loading, and organizing materials. This position ensures accurate handling of products, supports order fulfillment, and contributes to a well-organized and productive work environment. Shift and Schedule Full-Time Position Monday-Friday. 1st Shift - 5am until work is done, around 4:30pm. Flexibility in schedule to accommodate OT and/or weekends based on business needs. What you'll do:- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently
- Load, unload, and move materials within the yard, warehouse, or facility
- Transport materials between storage, staging, and loading areas
- Pull, stage, and prepare orders accurately for delivery or production
- Verify quantities and inspect materials for accuracy and quality
- Assist with organizing and maintaining inventory
- Support drivers, team members, and customers with material handling needs
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Report damaged materials, discrepancies, or safety concerns
- Follow all safety policies and procedures
- Perform additional duties as needed What you'll bring:
- Experience operating forklifts or similar equipment
- Ability to safely handle and move materials of varying sizes and weights
- Strong attention to detail and basic math skills
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Reliability and a strong commitment to safety
- Experience in warehouse, yard, or construction-related environments
- Familiarity with building materials or industrial products
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
- Ability to lift and move materials as required
- Ability to perform work in indoor and/or outdoor environments
- Comfortability with exposure to varying weather conditions and equipment operation
