Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for operating a forklift to move, load, and unload produce in our warehouse. This is a vital role in our operations, ensuring the efficient and safe movement of goods.

Duties:

• Operate a forklift to move produce within the warehouse
• Load and unload trucks using a forklift
• Stack and organize products in designated areas
• Perform inventory counts and maintain accurate records
• Inspect and maintain the forklift equipment
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines at all times

Requirements:

• Previous experience operating a forklift, preferably in a warehouse or industrial setting
• Proficiency in operating various types of forklifts
• Strong understanding of shipping and receiving processes
• Basic math skills for inventory management
• Mechanical knowledge to perform routine maintenance on the forklift equipment
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
