Forklift Operator

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dealership environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating forklifts and other heavy equipment to facilitate the efficient loading of RV's (Motorhomes, Travel Trailers, Truck Campers, Tent Trailers etc.) to display on the sales lot, park customer units for service and load service bays. This role is crucial for maintaining the efficiency for Sales and Service departments. Duties Operate forklifts and other heavy equipment to move and store RV's in designated areas. On occasion will deliver units to customers or transport to another Parris RV dealership. Move customer units to be stored for service after they have been checked in. Move new arrived sales units to the sales lot in the designated RV category. Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure safe operation and compliance with OSHA standards. Follow all safety protocols and procedures to minimize risk of accidents or injuries. Requirements Proven experience as a Forklift Operator or in a similar role. Strong mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation. Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to forklift operation and safety practices. Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team. Strong communication skills and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
