What You'll Do:

Assists with making sure pipe racks are safe. Assists with assuring the pipe is loaded safely and properly on trailers. Unloads pipe and other tubular products from trucks (either BHT or foreign trucks). Counts items and verifies against prepared lists; assists in inventory verifications. Inspects and performs minor maintenance to forklifts, as required. Responsible for safe and efficient operations of the vehicle; maintains knowledge of safety procedures while performing forklift driving and materials handling tasks.

What We're Looking For:

Required Education, Experience and/or Abilities A high school diploma or equivalent education with experience in trucking operations; or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to meet physical requirements established by the Department of Transportation, including drug/alcohol testing. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Possession of a valid driver's license appropriate for the type of equipment to be operated. OSHA forklift certification preferred, or have the ability to pass operator test for certification. Additional Eligibility Qualifications English language fluency, verbal and written.
