Forklift Operator

Our client is currently seeking a reliable and experienced Forklift Operator in Florence, New Jersey, to support daily warehouse operations. This position is ideal for someone who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy, safety, and productivity. The Forklift Operator will be responsible for handling materials, preparing shipments, and assisting with freight movement throughout the facility. Candidates should have prior forklift experience and a strong understanding of warehouse procedures.

The Day-to-Day:

Load, unload, ship, and receive materials in an efficient and organized manner Operate assigned forklift equipment to transport products throughout the warehouse Pick, wrap, stage, and prepare customer orders for shipment Complete freight documentation accurately and on time Arrange and optimize loads to support safe handling and efficient transportation Maintain a clean and orderly work area Follow all company safety procedures and warehouse guidelines Communicate with team members and supervisors to support smooth daily operations

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent Minimum of 2 years of forklift operating experience Experience with sit-down, high reach, cherry picker, or turret forklifts preferred Strong attention to detail and knowledge of warehouse operations Ability to work well with others in a team-focused environment Professional communication skills Physically able to lift, move, and handle materials as needed Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse setting Dependable, safety-conscious, and able to follow instructions

Pay Rate:

$18.40 per hour

Schedule:
