This energetic position involves managing the receipt, inspection, and documentation of returned items, utilizing advanced warehouse management systems and RF scanners to streamline the process. Responsibilities Utilize Warehouse Management System (WMS) software and RF scanners to accurately track incoming returns and update inventory records in real-time. Inspect returned items for damage or discrepancies, ensuring they meet quality standards before restocking or disposition. Manage the stocking process by organizing returned goods efficiently for storage or outbound shipment. Support order picking, packing, and shipping activities by preparing items for outbound distribution when necessary. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely processing of returns, adhering to company policies and safety protocols. Assist with basic math calculations related to inventory counts, order quantities, and shipment weights to ensure accuracy. Requirements Proven warehouse experience with familiarity in warehouse distribution and shipping & receiving operations. Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), RF scanners, and AS400 or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems like MRP software. Strong understanding of order fulfillment processes including picking & packing, stock management, and loading & unloading shipments. Basic math skills for inventory counts and shipment calculations. Experience working in e-commerce environments with knowledge of packaging standards and order picker equipment is preferred. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
