678-886-1046 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Forklift Operator to join our dynamic warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating various types of heavy equipment, including Order Picker, Single Jack, and Swing Jack, to efficiently load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse and distribution center. Your expertise in warehouse management systems and materials handling will ensure smooth operations and accurate order fulfillment. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, experience in warehouse distribution, and a commitment to safety standards such as OSHA regulations. Responsibilities Safely operate forklift equipment such as Order Picker, Single jack , Double jack, and swing jack to load and unload shipments. Perform order picking using pickers and other warehouse management system tools to fulfill customer orders accurately. Manage inventory movement within the warehouse, including stacking pallets with pallet jacks and organizing materials for efficient access. Conduct routine equipment inspections and perform basic repairs or coordinate maintenance to ensure operational safety. Assist with shipping and receiving processes by verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against documentation. Support warehouse supervisor in maintaining organized storage areas and adhering to safety protocols. Utilize mechanical skills for troubleshooting equipment issues and ensuring minimal downtime during operations. Experience Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as reach trucks, Hi-Lo forklifts, clamp trucks, and pallet jacks within a warehouse or distribution setting. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory control and order processing. Previous experience in shipping & receiving, order picking, and materials handling is highly desirable. Knowledge of warehouse safety standards including OSHA regulations. Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform basic equipment repairs. Basic math skills for measuring, counting, and verifying quantities during order fulfillment. Experience in warehouse supervision or managing team workflows is a plus but not required.
