Job Type:

Full-Time Most employees start between $20.00-$22.50/hour. The higher end of the range, $25.00/hour, is reserved for candidates with exceptional experience or qualifications. What You'll Do Support and actively engage in Seaport Steel's Safety Program Operate Forklift Utilize a Crane to move material within the facility Review customer work order: materials, and customer order specifications. Verifies material stock before packaging products, loading trucks, or processing job orders. Loads/unloads material stock using a hand forklift with an overhead crane. Load truck for shipment with supervision. Process stock pulls with supervision. Build skids and pallets. Cleans and packages material for shipping. Communicate with a supervisor or team lead regarding warehouse procedures. Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. High school diploma or GED Warehouse or material‑handling experience preferred Able to read, write, and communicate clearly Basic math skills (fractions, decimals, percentages) Able to follow instructions and solve routine problems Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Ability to print and speak simple sentences. Math Ability Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10s and 100s. Ability to perform these operations using weight measurement. Reasoning Ability Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
