Forklift Operator (Reach Truck & Sit-Down)

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and safety-minded Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating both Stand-Up Reach Trucks and Sit-Down Forklifts to safely move, stack, and stage materials throughout our facility. The ideal candidate has a sharp eye for detail, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and possesses a strong track record of accident-free equipment operation.

Key Responsibilities Equipment Operation:

Safely and efficiently operate Stand-Up Reach Trucks (for high-rack storage) and Standard Sit-Down Forklifts.

Material Handling:

Load, unload, move, and stack products, pallets, and materials from trucks and staging areas.

Inventory Accuracy:

Use RF scanners to track inventory movement, ensuring accurate placement and record-keeping.

Order Picking:

Retrieve orders from high-bay racking systems accurately and prepare them for shipment.

Safety & Maintenance:

Conduct daily pre-operation equipment inspections and report any defects; adhere to all OSHA and company safety protocols.

General Warehouse Duties:

Assist with keeping the warehouse clean, organized, and free of hazards as needed.

Qualifications & Skills Experience:

Minimum of 1-2 years of proven experience operating both a Stand-Up Reach Truck and a Sit-Down Forklift (Required).

Certification:

Current or previous Forklift Certification (OSHA approved) is highly preferred (we can re-certify in-house).

Technical Skills:

Experience using RF scanners for inventory tracking is a strong plus.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand or sit for extended periods, and work in a warehouse environment.
