Forklift Operator / Warehouse

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Forklift Operator / Warehouse professional to join our dynamic logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently handling materials, operating heavy equipment, and ensuring the smooth flow of goods within our warehouse environment. Your expertise in warehouse management systems, order picking, and equipment operation will be vital to maintaining safety, accuracy, and productivity across all distribution activities. Responsibilities Safely operate various types of heavy equipment including forklifts, reach trucks, Hi-Lo, clamp trucks, and pallet jacks to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse. Perform order picking using pick systems and ensure accurate selection for shipping or inventory purposes. Manage inbound and outbound shipments by verifying quantities, inspecting loads, and documenting movements in the warehouse management system (WMS). Conduct routine equipment inspections and basic repairs to maintain optimal performance of forklifts and other machinery. Assist with warehouse distribution tasks such as stacking pallets, organizing storage areas, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace. Support shipping & receiving operations by preparing goods for shipment and ensuring compliance with OSHA safety standards. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow, improve safety protocols, and implement best practices in materials handling. Qualifications Proven experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, clamp trucks, Hi-Lo equipment or similar heavy machinery in a warehouse setting. Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and order picker technology. Mechanical knowledge for equipment repair and troubleshooting minor issues. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while adhering to OSHA guidelines. Basic math skills for inventory counts, measurements, and documentation accuracy. Prior experience in shipping & receiving processes and warehouse distribution is highly preferred. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Pay:

$20.25 - $22.25 per hour
