Forklift Operator - Weekend Days

C shift - Fri-Sun every other Thurs 6a-6p

Job Description:

The Forklift Operator is responsible for operating a forklift to move materials and products around the facility.

Essential Duties:

Operate forklift to load/unload materials and products from vehicles and/or conveyances. Ensure the loading/unloading of equipment is performed accurately. Ensure safe operation of the equipment. Ensure safe operation of the equipment in accordance with company safety procedures. Perform daily inspections of equipment to ensure that it has achieved the required performance standards. Maintain safe, clean, and efficient operation of the equipment. Report any maintenance or safety issues to management immediately. Assist in maintaining clean and orderly work environment. Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills Required:

Must be able to operate a forklift in a variety of environments including but not limited to warehouse, manufacturing, and distribution areas. Must possess good hand/eye coordination and eye/hand vision. Must be able to lift 50 pounds or more on a regular basis. Ability to stand/walk for long periods of time. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple interruptions by employees and/or customers.
