Job Description
Job Functions:
Ensure all medical forms are identified, completed, and signed Enter required patient information into the electronic records system Communicate with physicians and staff to clarify diagnoses or obtain additional information Assign codes to diagnoses and procedures Operate within defined work expectations, quality standards, and priorities, under close supervision and established guidelines Use your skills to make an impact Required Qualifications 2+ years of Medical Records experience Strong organizational skills Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel Quick to learn new systems Excellent written and verbal communication skills Willing to travel locally, with occasional overnight stays Committed to enhancing consumer experiences within a continuous improvement environment Preferred Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in a related field Previous healthcare or health insurance experience Familiarity with medical terminology and/or ICD-9 codesWork Hours:
Monday- Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

This role is considered patient-facing and is part of the company's Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. If selected for this role, you will be required to be screened for TB. Scheduled Weekly Hours 40 Pay Range The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc. $38,000- $45,800 per year This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan.
