Forklift Operator/Material Handler

Overview Join our dynamic logistics team as a Forklift Operator and Material Handler, where you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth flow of goods within our warehouse. This energetic position offers the opportunity to operate various types of heavy equipment, manage inventory, and support shipping and receiving operations. Duties Safely operate sit down forklift, electric pallet jacks, and other equipment to load, unload, move, and organize materials throughout the warehouse. Perform order picking using pick systems and ensure accurate selection for shipments. Conduct routine inspections and minor repairs on equipment to maintain optimal operation and safety standards. Assist with warehouse management system (WMS) data entry for inventory tracking, order processing, and shipment documentation. Support shipping and receiving activities by verifying inbound and outbound shipments against documentation. Load and unload trucks efficiently while adhering to OSHA safety guidelines for heavy lifting and materials handling. Maintain a clean, organized workspace by stacking pallets correctly and ensuring safe storage practices in line with warehouse distribution protocols. Experience Proven experience operating forklifts, or similar equipment in a warehouse or distribution setting. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory control and order processing. Prior experience in shipping & receiving, order picking, or warehouse distribution is highly desirable. Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to forklift operation, heavy lifting, and equipment repair.
