Forklift Driver - Cold Storage Facility Position Summary We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Forklift Driver to join our cold storage warehouse team. The Forklift Driver is responsible for safely operating forklifts and other material-handling equipment to move, stack, load, and unload products in a refrigerated environment while maintaining inventory accuracy and workplace safety standards. Key Responsibilities Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently. Load and unload trailers Move products to designated storage locations within warehouse Pick, stage, and prepare orders for shipment. Perform inventory checks and maintain accurate product records. Inspect equipment daily and report maintenance or safety concerns. Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse areas. Work in cold temperatures for extended periods while meeting productivity goals. Assist with general warehouse duties as needed. Qualifications Previous forklift operating experience preferred. Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification. Ability to work in cold storage temperatures. Strong attention to detail and safety awareness. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods. Basic math and inventory tracking skills. Dependable attendance and strong teamwork skills. High school diploma or GED preferred. Working Conditions Refrigerated warehouse environment. Temperatures may range from 34°F to 38°F. Frequent standing, lifting, bending, and equipment operation. May require overtime, weekends, or shift work.
