Forklift Operator/Yard Labor

Forklift Operator Interstate Wholesale Fence has been a huge part of the community for many years with plenty more years to come. We are looking for a candidate who can embrace this position and encompass the values this long-standing company prides itself on.

Position Overview:

Responsible for all assigned tasks relating to loading and unloading of material. Keeping material clean and organized while relocating it. Safety is a priority in this position. Responsibilities of a Forklift Operator include but are not limited to:

• Report to supervisor at beginning of shift for daily task list.
• Loading and unloading trucks.
• Operate forklift with the utmost responsibility. Do not carelessly or recklessly operate.
• Maintain an organized work area. All material has assigned areas.
• Work cohesively with all departments.
• Perform other duties necessary for the effective operation of the department.

Position requirements:

• High School or GED preferred.
• 1 year of relevant experience.
• Commitment to detail.
• Strong communication skills and an incredible team player.

Physical demands & work environment: Employee will be outdoors for the majority of their day Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Rain, Sleet or Snow, your job requirements remain the same Jeans and Work Boots are required
