Framer / Siding installer

Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Framer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction practices and techniques, with the ability to read blueprints and execute framing projects efficiently. This role requires physical stamina and a commitment to safety on the job site. As a Framer, you will play a crucial role in building structures that meet high standards of quality and durability. Responsibilities This is a travel position 4-10s Interpret and work from blueprints to determine project specifications and requirements. Construct frameworks for buildings using wood, metal studs, or other materials as specified in project plans. Perform drywall installation and finishing tasks as needed. Engage in concrete forming processes for foundations and other structural elements. Operate heavy equipment safely to assist in the framing process when necessary. Conduct trim carpentry tasks to enhance the aesthetic appeal of completed structures. Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project timelines are met. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols. Assist with heavy lifting and moving materials as required throughout the construction site. Skills Proficient in blueprint reading to accurately interpret project plans. Experience with drywall installation and finishing techniques. Knowledge of concrete forming practices for structural integrity. Familiarity with construction site operations and safety regulations. Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the workday. Skills in trim carpentry for finishing touches on projects. Competence in operating heavy equipment related to framing tasks. Experience with metal stud framing as an alternative building method is preferred. Welding skills are a plus for additional structural support capabilities. Understanding of construction management principles to contribute effectively to project planning and execution.
