$55K-$62K We're partnering with a growing logistics organization to identify a Freight Brokerage Coordinator who will play a key role in managing day-to-day brokerage operations and driving efficient, reliable freight movement. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building relationships, and has a strong understanding of transportation and logistics operations. What You'll Do Oversee daily freight brokerage operations, including load booking, carrier assignment, and delivery tracking Build and maintain strong carrier relationships to ensure competitive pricing and dependable service Partner with customers to understand shipping needs, provide solutions, and resolve issues quickly Negotiate rates with carriers and customers to balance profitability and market competitiveness Ensure compliance with all federal and state transportation regulations (FMCSA, DOT) Maintain accurate documentation and shipment records Utilize TMS platforms to track shipments, analyze performance, and improve operational efficiency Address operational challenges, including delays, discrepancies, and back-office issues What We're Looking For 1+ years of experience in freight brokerage, logistics, or transportation management Strong understanding of freight markets, carrier networks, and industry regulations Experience working across multiple transportation modes Proficiency with transportation management systems (TMS) and Microsoft Office tools Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and with clients Comfortable escalating complex issues when needed Key Skills Communication & relationship management Time management and prioritization Analytical thinking and problem-solving Leadership and team coordination Customer service mindset
