Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting products related to lawn care, gardening, landscape maintenance, and floral design. Provide expert advice on horticulture techniques, plant care, and landscape solutions to enhance customer satisfaction. Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems accurately for transactions including cash handling and retail math calculations. Stock shelves efficiently, organize merchandise displays, and ensure the store is clean, organized, and visually appealing through effective merchandising. Support inventory management by monitoring stock levels, processing shipments, and conducting regular stock checks. Assist customers with e-commerce orders or inquiries to promote seamless shopping experiences across multiple channels. Communicate product features clearly in English or multilingual options to accommodate diverse customer needs. Requirements Passion for gardening, floral design, lawn care, or landscape maintenance with a desire to share knowledge with customers. Strong communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus to serve a diverse clientele. Previous experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential. Organizational skills to manage stocking tasks efficiently and maintain an orderly sales floor. Basic proficiency with POS systems and cash handling procedures to ensure accurate transactions. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads as needed in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of retail math principles for accurate pricing and sales calculations.
