Freight Handler

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Freight Handler to join our 3rd shift logistics team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing the movement of freight within our warehouse and distribution center. Your expertise in warehouse distribution and heavy equipment will drive our success forward! Duties Load and unload freight using forklifts, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and other heavy equipment while adhering to safety standards such as OSHA regulations Conduct heavy lifting tasks safely while maintaining proper materials handling procedures Assist with warehouse organization, including stacking pallets, managing load & unload tasks, and maintaining a clean workspace Qualifications Proven experience in warehouse distribution or related fields such as construction or logistics Hands-on experience operating heavy equipment including forklifts, clamp trucks, and pallet jacks Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, and shipping & receiving processes Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of OSHA safety standards in warehouse settings Prior experience in order picking, load & unload activities, and materials handling preferred Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently for extended periods Warehouse supervisor experience or leadership skills are a plus but not required Join us as a Freight Handler to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to operational excellence! $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
