Freight Loader

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Freight Loader to join our warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for loading, unloading, and organizing freight in a fast-paced distribution environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, physically capable, and committed to maintaining safety and efficiency standards. Key Responsibilities Load and unload freight from trucks, trailers, and containers Sort, stack, and organize shipments based on destination or route Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage or discrepancies Use pallet jacks, hand trucks, or forklifts (if certified) Secure freight properly to prevent damage during transit Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow all safety procedures and company policies Assist with inventory checks and warehouse operations as needed Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous warehouse or freight handling experience is a plus Ability to lift up to 50-75 lbs consistently Comfortable working in a physically demanding environment Basic understanding of warehouse safety practices Ability to work independently and as part of a team Reliable attendance and punctuality Work Environment Fast-paced warehouse or distribution center May involve working in varying temperatures Standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods

Pay:

$23.00 - $27.70 per hour
