Aug 24, 2026 Job Description Wakefield Memorial High School is seeking a Freshman Coach for the Girls Soccer program for the upcoming 2026 Fall season.
Requirements:
All candidates should have the following: MIAA Certified Coach / NFHS Fundamentals of Coaching Varsity Coaching Experience Extensive Soccer Background (playing or coaching) Excellent communication skills Passion and energy to promote Educational Athletics CPR / First Aid Certifications Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Assists Head Coach with all program needs. Coaches individual participants in basic and advanced skills necessary for maximum individual achievement within the team setting. Provides leadership necessary to build a program ready for sustained success. Teaches, monitors and enforces appropriate standards of discipline and sportsmanlike behavior. Monitors adherence by athletes to the rules and regulations of the MIAA. Keeps up to date with any necessary training for assigned sport. Attends regular coaches meetings organized by the Athletic Director to discuss the expectations and guidelines of the Athletic Program. Creates an environment where students are supported and encouraged to participate in the athletics program. Adheres to practice schedules, student practice rules and medical compliance as required by the league.
