Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting fresh deli products, sandwiches, snacks, and beverages Prepare food items efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation Operate POS systems such as Clover POS and Door Dash tablets to process sales accurately and handle cash transactions with care Upsell products by recommending popular items and promoting specials to enhance customer satisfaction and sales Maintain cleanliness of the front counter, deli area, and seating spaces by bussing tables and sanitizing surfaces regularly Manage food handling responsibilities according to health regulations and store policies Support inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring product freshness throughout your shift Skills Proven experience in food preparation, food service, or quick service & fast food restaurant environments Familiarity with POS systems for efficient cashiering and sales processing Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and accurate transaction processing Ability to work effectively in a retail or grocery store setting with a focus on serving customers quickly and efficiently This role is perfect for individuals passionate about the food industry who thrive in lively environments.
