Front Desk Administrator Memphis, TN 38119 $20.00 - $28.45 an hour - Full-time $20.00 - $28.45 an hour - Full-time Overview We are seeking a dynamic and organized Front Desk Administrator to be the welcoming face of our office. This energetic role requires a proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, managing front desk operations with enthusiasm and professionalism. You will serve as the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and team members, ensuring smooth daily operations and exceptional customer service. Your multitasking skills and attention to detail will help create a positive and efficient workplace atmosphere. Duties Greet visitors, clients, and vendors warmly, providing excellent customer support and assistance. Manage multi-line phone systems, answer inquiries, direct calls accurately, and maintain phone etiquette at all times. Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails, mail, and packages with precision. Maintain appointment calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate conference room bookings efficiently. Perform data entry tasks such as filing, record keeping, and updating databases using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools. Support office management activities including supply inventory, filing systems, proofreading documents, and basic bookkeeping with QuickBooks. Assist with clerical tasks like typing reports, proofreading documents for accuracy, and managing office organization to ensure a tidy workspace. Experience Proven experience in front desk or administrative roles within an office environment. Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets), and data entry skills. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively using time management techniques. Demonstrated customer service expertise with professional phone etiquette and interpersonal skills. Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to support diverse client interactions. Familiarity with office management software such as QuickBooks for bookkeeping or calendar management tools is preferred. Previous clerical experience including filing, proofreading, and supporting administrative functions is advantageous.
