Front Desk Agent

We are currently seeking a reliable, friendly, and motivated Front Desk Agent to join our team and serve as the first point of contact for our guests. In this role, you will assist with guest check-ins and check-outs, respond to guest needs, and help create a smooth, welcoming, and memorable stay experience. We are a small, close-knit team that works together to create a positive environment for both our staff and guests. All of our employees have been with us for over three seasons, with some team members returning for as many as 13 seasons. We truly value teamwork, support, and creating a welcoming workplace where employees enjoy coming to work each day. We believe that when our staff has a positive working environment, it naturally reflects in the experience we provide to our guests.

Position Details Schedule:

Part-time and full-time positions available

Typical Shift Hours:

8:00 AM

• 4:00 PM 12:00 PM
• 8:00 PM 2:00 PM
• 10:00 PM We are flexible with shift lengths and scheduling when possible.

Duration:

Seasonal position starting immediately through mid-October, with the possibility of part-time work during the off-season for interested candidates

Potential to return annually for future seasonsPosition Overview Hotel Front Desk Agents are responsible for welcoming guests, managing reservations, assisting with guest requests, and providing information about rooms, rates, and hotel amenities. The ideal candidate has strong customer service skills, enjoys working with people, and is comfortable handling a variety of tasks in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Responsibilities Perform all guest check-in and check-out procedures Manage online and phone reservations Welcome guests upon arrival and assign rooms Provide information about hotel amenities, room types, rates, and local attractions Respond to guest questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner Help guests with in-room issues such as TV, Wi-Fi, air conditioning, room keys, and other basic troubleshooting Communicate guest concerns and maintenance issues to the appropriate departments Coordinate with housekeeping to ensure rooms are clean, organized, and guest-ready Confirm group reservations and assist with special accommodations for wedding guests and events Maintain accurate booking and payment records Assist with upselling hotel services and amenities when appropriate Help monitor hotel grounds and guest areas to maintain safety and cleanliness Assist with pool opening and closing duties, including organizing towels, setting up pool furniture, and preparing the area for guests Work as part of a team to ensure guests have an enjoyable and positive stay Qualifications & Skills Previous experience as a Hotel Front Desk Agent, Receptionist, or similar customer service role preferred Experience with hotel reservation systems such as Cloudbeds or RoomKeyPMS is a plus Familiarity with travel and booking platforms such as Booking.com and TripAdvisor preferred Strong customer service and communication skills Organized, dependable, and able to multitask Basic computer, TV, and technology troubleshooting knowledge Ability to lift and move light items when needed Positive attitude and willingness to help both guests and team members throughout the property
