Job Overview Join our vibrant team as a Front Desk Agent at a picturesque lakefront hotel, where your enthusiasm and hospitality expertise will create memorable experiences for our guests. In this energetic role, you will be the welcoming face of the hotel, ensuring smooth check-ins and check-outs, providing exceptional guest services, and maintaining a warm, inviting atmosphere. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival, ensuring a friendly and professional first impression. Manage guest check-in and check-out processes efficiently using multi-line phone systems and hotel management software. Provide accurate information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and dining options to enhance guest experiences. Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly with excellent customer service and phone etiquette. Maintain guest relations by addressing special requests, managing reservations, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction. Assist with night audit procedures, balancing accounts and preparing reports to ensure financial accuracy overnight. Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to address guest needs swiftly and effectively. Uphold hospitality standards by demonstrating bilingual or multilingual communication skills when assisting diverse guests. Experience Previous experience in hotel management or front desk operations is highly preferred. Strong background in customer service within the hospitality industry, especially in resort or hotel environments. Familiarity with front desk procedures, including guest registration, reservations, and billing systems. Knowledge of night audit processes and multi-line phone systems is advantageous. Excellent communication skills with an emphasis on hospitality management principles and guest relations. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are considered a valuable asset for engaging with a diverse clientele. Demonstrated ability to handle guest concerns professionally while maintaining a positive attitude in fast-paced settings.
